William Douglas Woodward, 52, of Booneville, Kentucky passed away March 21,
2026 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky following a long illness.

William was born January 8, 1974 in Manchester, Kentucky. He was the son of
William E. "Bill" Woodward and the late Reba Amis Woodward. William worked
for the Division of Forestry for many years. He faithfully attended the Indian
Creek Church.

William is survived by his father Mr. William E. "Bill" Woodward of Booneville,
Kentucky, his brother Mr. Vernon Woodward of Booneville, Kentucky, one Aunt-
Sissy Mrs. Phyllis "Bobby" Frost of Ricetown, Kentucky, three uncles Mr. Ronnie
"Liz" Amis of Booneville, Kentucky, Mr. Paul Wayne "Sara" Amis of Newport,
Kentucky, Mr. David Woodward of Booneville, Kentucky and a host of family and
friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother Reba Amis Woodward, his brother
Bryan J. Woodward, grandparents Bob & Mary Woodward and Alison & Wilma
Amis and several aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the
Indian Creek Church. Funeral services will Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 1:00 pm
at the Indian Creek Church with Brother Terry Sandlin officiating. Burial will
follow at the Amis-Baker Cemetery, Grassy Branch, Kentucky.
