Thomas Wayne "Tommy" Price, aged 82, of Booneville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Kentucky, following a long illness. Born on March 1, 1943, in Levi, Kentucky, Tommy was the beloved son of the late Robert Clayton and Bertha Jackson Price.

Tommy was a cherished member of the Booneville United Methodist Church and spent his career as a dedicated store manager before retiring. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Eileen Deaton Price, and his son Devon "Rita" Price of Richmond, Kentucky. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Abigail "Jason" Hurt of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Alex Price of Loveland, Colorado; his great grandson, Griffin Douglas Hurt. Tommy is also survived by his sister Wilma Congleton of Georgia, sister-in-laws Janet Price of Berea, Kentucky, and Ollie Turner of Buckhorn, Kentucky, and brother-in-law Jerry "Kay" Deaton of Frankfort, Kentucky, along with several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Clayton and Bertha Price, his brothers James, Robert, and Charles Price, and his sisters Rena Congleton and Verna Ruth Hutson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at the same location, with Rev. Jamie Brunk and Bro. Tony Turner officiating. Burial will take place in the Shepherd Cemetery, Booneville, Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Kentucky.
