Rhonda “Margaret” Burch, 85, of Campton, Kentucky—formerly of Booneville—passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Kentucky.

Born on October 16, 1940, in Owsley County, Kentucky, Margaret was the beloved daughter of Lewis Henry and Dessie Williams Edwards. Throughout her long and meaningful life, Margaret was recognized for her dedication and service to her community, notably serving as a Trial Commissioner for many years.

Margaret’s legacy shines brightest through her family. She is survived by her two devoted daughters: Shirley Bishop of Richmond, KY, and Robin Vanderpool of Campton, KY. The love and wisdom she bestowed upon her daughters will continue to guide and inspire them in the years ahead.

Margaret’s journey was marked by perseverance and compassion, qualities that were evident in every aspect of her life—whether in her professional service or her personal relationships. The warmth and kindness she extended to those around her will be dearly missed.

A graveside service to honor and remember Margaret’s life will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the Burch Family Cemetery, located on Hwy 846 in Booneville, KY.
