Nathan Mullins, 70, of Booneville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at his residence.

Nathan was born February 20, 1955 in Oneida, Kentucky.  He was the son of the late Floyd and Elsie Gibson Mullins.  Nathan was a Correctional Captain at the Lee County Adjustment Center for many years.

Nathan is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Betty Jean Bennett Mullins, two sons Mr. Michael Todd "Renea" Mullins of Nicholasville, Ky, Mr.  Donnie Bowling of Booneville, Ky, one grandson Mr. Nicholas Shane Svatba of Booneville, Ky, his nephew Tony Roberts of Booneville, Ky and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Elsie Gibson Mullins and one sister.

Visitation will be Friday, September 12, 2025 from 5 pm to 9 pm at Searcy and Strong Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 1 pm at Searcy and Strong Funeral Home with Rev. Jamie Brunk officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shepherd's Memorial Cemetery, Booneville, Kentucky.

Pallbearers included Charlie Bennett, Tony Roberts, Jeff Ragan, Joe Barrett, Roy Terry, Heath Gumm, Matthew Begley, Josh Ward, Dustin Gumm, Caleb Bowling and Christian Bowling.
