Lois Dean Cornett Johnson, 81, of Booneville, Kentucky passed away January 7, 2026 at her residence.

Lois was baptized in 1954 at the First Baptist Church of Booneville, Kentucky, and attended Lerose Community Church in Booneville, Kentucky.

Lois is survived by her children Charlie "Phyllis Barrett" Johnson, Harold "Tanya Brandenburg" Johnson, Trish "Jesse Jr." Bishop, ten grandchildren Ronnie "Jennifer" Sandlin, Sheyenne Johnson, Heather "Brent" Lynch, Charlie Johnson Brewer, Brionna "Eric Kilburn" Johnson, Jessica "Jacob" Burns, Jasmine Johnson, Adrian Bishop, Jessalyn Bishop, and Arabella Bishop. Fifteen Great grandchildren Kaley, Kimber & Koleman Sandlin, Lexy, Laya, & Zayden Lynch, Ellie Jo & Everlee Havicus and Evelyn Brewer, Weston Hoskins, Lukaiah Kilburn, Harlen, Maverick & Callie Beth Burns, Carter Caudill, one great-great grandchild Kade Douglas Polly and one brother Larry "Joan" Cornett. Several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents John and Dora Smith Cornett, two sons Donnie Ray Johnson and Robert Johnson, Jr. Three brothers Junior, Ova, and Jimmy. Seven sisters Ida, Ruby, Helen, Thelma, Dorothy, Clara and Edna.

Pallbearers will be Charlie, Harold, Jesse, Wyatt, Ronnie, Brent, Jake and Kaleb.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 11, 2026 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday, January 12, 2026 at 1:00pm at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home with Brother Adam Stall officiating. Burial will follow at the Johnson Family Cemetery at Chestnut Gap, Kentucky.
