Linda Kay Ratliff, 68, of Booneville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025 at her residence following a long illness.

Linda was born August 3, 1957 in Oneida, Kentucky.  She was the daughter of late Jesse and Bessie Neeley Yarber.  Linda was a homemaker and faithful member of the Royal Oak Baptist Church.

Linda is survived by her husband Mr. Hershel Ratliff of 49 years, one son Mr. Jeffery Lee Ratliff (fiance Shannon Taylor) of Booneville, Kentucky, three grandsons Mr. Ryan "Amelia" Ratliff of Jackson County, Kentucky, Mr. Jacob "Mickayla Mason" Ratliff of Booneville, Mr. Charlie Ratliff of Booneville, three sisters Ms. Brenda "Scott Clark" Yarber and Mrs. Carolyn Moore, both of Jackson County, Mrs. Pam "Bobby" Hunter of Booneville and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Bessie Neeley Yarber.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Friday, August 15, 2025 at 11:00 am at Searcy and Strong Funeral Home with Brother Harold Hays officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ratliff Family Cemetery, Sturgeon, Kentucky.
