Linda Faye Evans, 70, of Booneville, Kentucky passed away on June 9, 2026, at her residence. Born on July 26, 1955, in La Porte, Indiana. She was the deloved daughter of Art and Betsy Wilfong Stevens.

Linda was a devoted wife to Jimmy H. Evans and a loving mother to their son, Craig Evans. Her heart was further enriched by three special grandchildren—Aaron Wilder, Dalton Wilder, and Ozzlyn Wilder, all of Booneville, who brought joy and laughter to her life. She also treasured her three special great-granddaughters: Macie Sebastain, Oaklynn Wilder, and Paisley Wilder. Linda is survived by her brother, Roger Stevens of La Porte, Indiana, along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who held her dearly in their hearts.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Art and Betsy Wilfong Stevens; her brother Richard Stevens and sister Diane Krush, whose memories she honored throughout her lifetime.

A visitation to honor Linda’s life will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Searcy & Strong Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at Searcy & Strong Funeral Home with Brother Matthew Mosley officiating. Burial will follow in the Evans Cemetery, Booneville, Kentucky.
