Jamie "Gunner" Campbell, 48, of Booneville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky following a motorcycle accident.

Jamie was born March 7, 1977 in Manchester, Kentucky.  He was the son of Myrtle McDaniel McIntosh and the late Jimmy Campbell.  Jamie was an Underground Cable Installer and attended the Sugar Camp Baptist Church.

Jamie is survived by his son Mr. Daniel James Campbell, his mother Mrs. Myrtle McIntosh, one sister Mrs. Crystal Smith, one brother Mr. Jacob Campbell, one niece Miss Taylor Bennett, one nephew Mr. Trevor Bennett - all of Booneville, Kentucky, a special friend Ms. Rebecca Griffett of Winchester, Kentucky and several other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Campbell and his grandparents Jim and Jean McDaniel.

Visitation will be Monday, September 29, 2025 from 5 pm to 9 pm at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 1 pm at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home with Brother William McKelvey officiating.  Burial will follow at the Shepherd Memorial Cemetery, Booneville, Kentucky.
