Jacob Mitchell Hobbs, 27, of Paris, Kentucky passed away May 31, 2025 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky following a short illness.

Jacob was born in Manchester, Ky.  He was the son of Jerry and JoAnn Barker Hobbs.  Jacob was the maintenance manager at Stone Farm LLC in Paris, Ky.

Jacob is survived by his wife Sabrina N. Rice Hobbs and his son Coleton Hobbs, his parents Jerry and JoAnn Hobbs of Paris, Ky; his grandparents Ervine and June Hobbs, Squire and Lorene Barker all of Booneville; uncles Gary "April" Hobbs and Jeffero Barker of Booneville; aunts Maxine Turner of Booneville and JoAnn "Mike" Ray of Manchester, KY; Rosetta "Bryan" Siler of Nicholasville, Ky; Camilla F. Baker of Booneville; father-in-law Floyd Rice of Cynthiana, Ky and several relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his uncle Kenny Hobbs and mother-in-law Beronica Brumback.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Searcy & Strong Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Cow Creek Presbyterian Cemetery with Rev. Jamie Brunk officiating.
