Isaac Clinton "Poodle" Barrett, 80, of Beattyville, Kentucky passed away June 24, 2025 at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, Kentucky following a brief illness.

Isaac was born August 16, 1944 in Owsley County, Kentucky.  He was the son of the late Clint and Addie Bowman Barrett.  Isaac was a Barber and attended the Presbyterian Church.

Isaac is survived by his daughter Mrs. Melissa Campbell of Richmond, Kentucky, three grandchildren Mr. Jordon Noe of Beattyville, Kentucky, Mrs. Jade "Cody" Johnson of Richmond, Kentucky, Mr. Colby Campbell of Beattyville, Kentucky, one great grandchild Theo Johnson of Richmond, Kentucky, two brothers Mr. Donald Edward "Virginia" Barrett of Booneville, Kentucky, Mr. Daniel "Helen" Barrett of Nicholasville, Kentucky and one sister Mrs. Ann Turner of Booneville, Kentucky.  Several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Clint and Addie Bowman Barrett and his wife Phyllis Allen Barrett.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home.  Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm Saturday at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home with Brother Mark Coburn officiating.  Burial following in the Shepherd's Memorial Cemetery, Booneville, Kentucky.
