Irene Young Tutt, 54, of Beattyville, Kentucky, passed away on January 16th, 2026, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Kentucky, following a long illness.

Irene was born July 12, 1971 in Irvine, Kentucky.  She was the daughter of Ann Turner and the late Stanley Young.  Irene was a homemaker and attended the First Baptist Church of Booneville, Kentucky.

Irene is survived by her loving husband, Donald Dale Tutt of Beattyville, her daughter Brittany "Curtis" Gampfer, and her son Jeffrey Derek Sizemore both of Booneville.  Irene was a proud grandmother to Trenton Herald, Keegan Herald, Emaleigh Herald, and Jalaya Hager all of Booneville, a special friend William Bill Harvey of Beattyville, two special children, Nova and Adyline Harvey of Beattyville. She is also survived by her mother, Ann "Freddy" Turner, her sisters Janice "Leroy Ratliff" Young, Dorothy Shouse, and Ruby Nell Marshall all of Booneville, and her brothers Tyler "Hunter" Parker of Booneville and Jack "Diann" Young of Union, Kentucky.

She is preceded in death by her father Stanley Young, one granddaughter Jordyn Isabella Nicole Herald, three sisters Ruth Ann Peters, Julia Ann Combs, Ila Mae Marshall, two brothers Tony and Stanley Wayne Young.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 19th, 2026, from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Searcy & Strong Funeral Home, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00pm. Burial will take place at the Chestnut Gap Cemetery in Booneville, Kentucky with Brother Rob Morgan officiating.
