Geraldine Marshall Minter, aged 79, of Ricetown, Kentucky, passed away on January 19, 2026, at the ARH Advanced Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky, following a brief illness. Born on July 30, 1946, in Ricetown, Kentucky, she was the beloved daughter of the late Donald and Rhoda Thomas Marshall.

Geraldine dedicated her life to being a homemaker, nurturing her family with love and care. She is survived by her son, Mr. Jason "Rachelle" Minter, and her cherished grandsons, Mr. Owen Minter and Mr. Aiden Minter, all residing in Ricetown, Kentucky. She also leaves behind a special grandchild, Waylon Jace Oliver, her brother, Mr. Wallace "Marie" Marshall of Ricetown, Kentucky, and her sister, Mrs. Geneva "Letcher" Combs of S. Lebanon, Ohio. Geraldine's legacy is further carried on by several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, her husband Tommy Clyde Minter, her sons Thomas Wade Minter and Joey Minter, her brothers Winfred, Timmy, and Jimmy Marshall, and her sister Wilma Duff.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm, officiated by Brother Terry Sandlin. Geraldine will be laid to rest at the Esau-Gabbard Cemetery in Indian Creek, Kentucky.
