Frances Ann Ratliff, age 72, of Booneville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday,  April 7, 2026, at the Owsley County Health Care Center after a long illness. Born on May 23, 1953, in Owsley County, KY, she was the beloved daughter of the late Morton and LouBertha (Moore) Sizemore. Frances was a devoted member of the Assembly Church of God and dedicated her life to being a homemaker.

She is survived by her loving husband, Sonny Eugene Ratliff, and a special great nephew, Hunter Reed of Booneville. Frances also leaves behind her sisters, Nellie Mae Hobbs of Sextons Creek, KY, Pauline Hurst, and Gracie Turner, as well as her brother, Hugh Sizemore, all residing in Booneville, KY. She will be fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Along with her parents; Morton and LouBertha Sizemore, she was preceded in death by three sisters; Joyce Wilder, Shirley Neal, Lucille Peters and five brothers; Stanley, Roy, Junior, Paul and O.C. Sizemore.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 5 pm to 8 pm at Searcy and Strong Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11 am at the same location, with Brother Gary Vandeventer officiating. Burial will follow at the Ratliff Family Cemetery in Booneville, Kentucky.
