Ella Frances Bowman Addison, 93, of Booneville, Kentucky passed away March
18, 2026 at her residence surround by her family following a long illness.

Ella was born April 21, 1932 in Owsley, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the
late Tinsley and Lena Gertrude Botner Bowman . Ella was the wife/widow for 67
years of James Golden Addison. Ella was a dedicated Christian mother and
grandmother. She was a member of the Booneville United Methodist Church. Ella
worked for 38 years as a social worker for the Department of Human Resources.

Ella is survived by her son Mr. Steven J. Addison of Booneville, Kentucky, a
daughter Mrs. Debra "Tony" Burch of Booneville, Kentucky, four grandsons
Mr. Derrick Payne "Hope" Burch of Lexington, Kentucky, Mr. Robert Ashton
Burch of Richmond, Kentucky, Mr. Jacob Tinsley Addison "Tori Jones" of
Booneville, Kentucky, Mr. Trevor James "Emily" Addison of Booneville,
Kentucky, one brother Mr. James Ray "Phyllis" Bowman of Booneville, Kentucky,
one sister Mrs. Margaret "Sidney" Galbaugh of Richwood, Kentucky and special
caretakers & friends Mrs. Jennifer Dye of Booneville, Kentucky and Mrs. Carrie
Cornett of Beattyville, Kentucky. Several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Tinsley and Lena Gertrude Botner
Bowman and husband James Golden Addison.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at the
Booneville United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be Saturday, March
21, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Booneville United Methodist Church with Brother
Jamie Brunk and Brother David Bardin officiating. Burial will follow at the
Bowman-Seale Cemetery, Booneville, Kentucky.
