Carol Herald Creech, age 80, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at the Owsley County Health Care Center in Booneville, Kentucky. Born on February 22, 1945, in Owsley County to Andrew and Cindy Angel Herald.
She is survived by her daughter, Dena Begley of Booneville, Kentucky. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Creech.
At this time, no services are planned. Searcy and Strong Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
